As we rode closer to the North side of Shasta lake, the weather turned windy and rainy. But we made it to the cabin we had reservations at before it poured.

Ha ha ha...That's funny.
We actually rode out on a small pier when I took this shot, but now you have given me an idea. How about Insta-Float? I know they made cars that could go in the water but how about the Wing? We could call it the Insta-Float Water-Wing. Lets work on a design?!

I like this photo lots, but you should get it cropped enough so the horizon is level.

Thanks for that and glad you like it. Cropping it won't change the horizon, unless I cropped it out all together, but rotating it would. Unfortunately, rotating it just a few degrees would make it less clear, and since I took it while I was driving out on the pier, I was just happy to get it at all before it poured.

It's a nice shot! I like the contrast. Take a look at the second one.

Thanks for that. Being a published Photographer myself, I see you appreciate good pictures. I will use the first one, because it looks more like it did the day I took it. I could have used Adobe to fix it, but kind of like to leave originals alone since this is no contest as far as I know. But in this case, it looks good the way you rotated it. Since your putting planes up too, I may put one of mine up. I may also put up a bike ride photo that was recently published . Keep an eye out for those...
Take care,
Dave

Hey Dave, take a look one more time before I delete them, three more variations. I do almost strictly B&W 12x18s from 35 year old Nikons in my lab now, so it was nice to play around with a color image. I'm going for a short ride and then I'll come back and delete them from my site, and HD.

Ok, they're all gone.
