St. Patrick's Day Parade, 2006.
Dubliner John Murphy gathered together about 20 Goldwing owners and their machines to take part in the main 2006 Dublin parade. This year the weather wasn't so good and the day got off to a cloudy start, by the time we met at the Parkgate Street entrance to the Phoenix Park it was very cold and dull. Rain threatened but held off for the day. The Goldwings were about second from the end of the parade again this year, the Volkswagen Beetles were in front of us once again. The day went very well as usual. For the second year in succession, the parade was routed from the northside of Dublin to the southside.

Meeting up at the park.
We headed into town, this just before we moved up to the staging point.
At the staging point, waiting for about 45 minutes in the cold.
Off at last!
All done. A quick rest before we went to McDonald's.
Up to Tallaght for the second parade, more waiting.
