St. Patrick's Day Parade, 2007.

Dublin Goldwing owner John Murphy gathered together about 20 of us Goldwing owners and their machines to take part in the main 2007 Dublin Saint Patrick's Day parade, for the 5th year running. The weather this year was dull, cold and very windy but remained dry. The Goldwings were about second from the end of the parade again this year and we were left sniffing the exhaust fumes from the elderly Volkswagen Beetles that were right in front of us. The day went very well as usual. Many thanks to Graham Daniels and Fiona Massey for the pictures on this page.

We were standing around for two hours at the staging point, with strong gusts of wind blowing down Dominick Street. Some of the Goldwings on their side stands were pushed along by the wind and a couple of helmets were damaged as they took off. The above shots were taken by Graham Daniels. Graham was in the parade and had his camera around his neck. The shots below were taken by Fiona Massey. Fiona was in the crowd as we trundled around Parnell Square East and she managed to get some good shots from a decent vantage point.

Graham managed to get some more shots (below) as we proceeded through Dublin. After the Dublin Parade, we went to Tallaght for another parade. It was starting to rain by then so we didn't get any pictures from that parade.
