I'd like to hear your experiences. I've got a 1983 Aspencade which was damaged in a house fire. It has been sitting since 1995. Have had the carbs rebuilt and got it running, seems to run fine. I want to make a bare bike out of it and am looking for good used parts.

Yes Hal is still here.. I started a new job at O'Riellys Auto as a parts specialist.. Have to keep a retired person active ya know? I also tweaked my back.. so sitting at a computer blows.. It hurts to sit.. It hurts to lie down.. whine whine whine... And Ibuprofen just dulls the pain..Oh well suck it up is all I can do.... But should be back on Ella in next week or so.. get her down and prep her for winter storage.....lol

Dang, such a great job on cleaning her up and and getting her ready for the road, only to go into storage again??
Oh how sad that sounds.

Take care of yourself, sorry to hear about the back.

Only reason for storage is there are five bikes to ride.. And selling price blows during winter time... Hal

Hmm, that sounded like a good deal before, but if I jump on it in DEC. does it get better

It's still the distance that gets me, Maybe I should break down and buy some place in NV and get it over with.

Wow, lots of interesting info in here. Thanks! I have used pledge to polish my windshield, for the sake of hiding all of the scratches, but I never thought of it as a cleaner.
