Geez, Bob, you're beating me in my project! Granted, I'm doing a bit more... hahaha!
Maybe, but today I have to do MY Chores!!!!!That's only after I get them done can I play with my Toys' !! I'm thinking of drilling out the holes on the hanger bracket to accept bigger bolts and maybe trimming the edges on one end so it while sit better horizontal on the frame!! Where are ya at on your conversion and what more are you doing Ryan??? Bob

Bob ....Nice...I have a hanger very close to that but I'm planning on redrilling the holes that fastens the clamp and put in heavier bolts and lock washers nuts so I know its good and strong..

I'm finally taking off my radiator! Of course, I've been busy as heck finding parts, cleaning the rats nest of wires, cleaning all the crud off of the frame, removing the fairing, false gas tank, etc. etc...

The bike is just about bare-bones now, and today I'm doing some sanding and priming on one of the parts to see if I like the color blue I picked out!

BTW Bob, what did you use for your belt, and what did you replace your alternator pulley with? I ended up getting the same one you did. I'm also going to need advice on re-wiring the bike, but I'll post of more that on my project thread in the other forum.

I lost the freakin post,.......Ryan both pulleys are a 3 groove system. The alternator pulley is 2.5" that was sent with the alt. And the crankshaft pulley is Don P's. pulley. I went with 2 size belts, a 29.5' and a 30', all guess work now!! Bob

You're lucky, Bob! I was sent a v-belt style pulley on my alternator. The pulley being attached onto the crank is being fabricated by my neighbor. Guess I'll just have him fabricate one more piece! I'm really making him earn those Harley license plate screws for the work!

Hey Todd I fired that bike up today of course the radiator isn't in it yet, but I just ran it for a minute or two, the readings on the voltmeter said it was 14.30 volts at idle and 14.45 volts at 3 grand, cool just like car.. far out man...also I just posted photo's in my gallery of my conversion parts, I want to beef up the top some,I want to focus on a another way but heavier duty..I have something in mind..I might make my own bolt holder out of some flat stock so I can tighten the clamp at the bottom with heavy nuts and bolts and maybe have a heavy nut welded to it , like half inch..then I willfeel like it's stout.. Todd or anyone that wants to see my work in progress just look into my gallery....

Hey fella's if you want to save time looking for that 30 3/4" belt just go to any auto store and ask for a drive belt for a 02 Nissan Altima[4 rib]and they should give you a price list of many to choose from...I couldn't find a fuse holder for a 60 amp fuse, I finally found one on ebay..Napa only had one for 30 amp..Hey Todd ....thank You for all your help...Poorboy , man you had a great idea..4" to 2" is perfect..

Yep put lots of locktite on that bolt. I know from experience. My bike is quiet as the bolt and pulley are still laying against the radiator. Started it up and it fell out ... now I have to redo everything...
