Going ahead & start a thread on this build, but won't really be doing it till this winter.
This is what I have posted in the old thread.

I'm over at SpiderBob (in sunny Calif.) place & was able to get the picture into the laptop.
Pictures of the Jag rear end.
As you can see, I even got the mufflers.
It looks pretty good for a 1977 XJS.
Still need to figure out the gearing in it, think maybe it's 3.08:1, not to bad as the bike is 2.93:1
This will be a winter project for the GL1500 SE.
Will be pressure washing & maybe de-cage it.
Need to finish the GL1500 A Trike for the June Show & start riding.
The Collage up in Oak Ridge has Trike Riding course this summer which I may check out.

Trimmed the edges with a cut-off wheel & sanded down lightly.
Got the next 2-3 layer on, Now wait till the AM to check.
No picture as it looks just like the last on.
This is the body I will be mounting the Honda Del Sol tail lights on.
This body will be for sell after a new mold is made.
PM me with any "?".

Lay ups are done & the edges are trimmed & sanded.
:waving:Removed the nuts & bolts ready to remove the body.

The mold popped off easy. Washed the green release off & let it sit in the sun for a bit.

However, remember it took me 3 days to start the layup.
Guess what?
The release spray got some shrinkage & wavely. Didn't notice that!:(
Anyway the gel coat took the new shape & got a lot of dimples.
Look's like some body work on this one, One lite coat of bondo should fit it right up.
I guess I learned don't wait, be ready for a LONG DAY to layup the body
A little hard to see in the last picture.

Will need to mount the trunk in for now so the body don't move when I start to cut the holes to mount the new tail light buckets.
Will put it back into the mold before glassing in the trunk to make sure it's straight.

Started back to work on the tail lights housing.
Using Great Neck form spray to help fill in the larger gaps.
Will shape the bonda the area to ready to make a mold of each one.

Starting to glass the trunk onto the body.
The body is back in the mold to make sure it not twitched.
Nice pretty pink, mix the tooling gel (orange) with the white gel coat together to use up what I had left..
Had to sand the edges down to remove the gel coat to glass it, wont stick to gel very will.
I lay one layer of mat to hold it in place & will be putting 2 more later.

Will be redesigning the trunk when I make the next body.
The under body will be sprayed sealed later.

Waiting on the tail lights housing to get finished, so, Starting to work on the Jag rear-end.
Took off the misc. mounting brakets that I will make from 1/4" - 3/8" plate.
Mount the old tires & got about 65" to outside of both tires.
Looking at 5.5" - 6" shorten on each end.
Need to get the tires I will be using .

Like the end board disc brakes.

Did a mark up of the top mount & air shock before Shorten the axles.
Using 2"x2"x 1/8" Sq. tubing.
The lower control are are level with the ground.
Need to figure out how much pre-load I need to put on the air shock with about 2/5 of the travel & no air.
Everything will be moved in about 5" on each side.

Here's the body sitting on the tires.
Wheel opening still needs to be trimmed to shape, but will do that after I make the new mold w/ tail lights.
Looking at about 5 -.5" shorten each side.

This is to hold them in place.

Mud flip is glassed in on the outside, so sanded the inside edge to match & lay down 3 layers of mat.
Next will be to sand & shape the outside for body work.
Back to work on the tail light housings.

Got the new tires I'll be using on the Trike mounted to the chrome wire wheels.
The are UniRoyal 215/60R15 which are about 1.5" taller then the stock GL1500 tire.
This should help to bring the gearing back down to 2.93:1 which is what the bike was.

Put the body back on the tires & looking like close to 6" shorten need each side to fit under the wheel wells.

OK. stop playing around & get back to work on the tail light housing!
Started body on lights.
Need to fill all the outside seams & build up a wedge to the inside as much as I can.
That is so I will be able to remove the mold..

Ok, put a piece of the white tile board behind the back opening & taped it down with Alum tape. Fill the gaps & holes with modeling clay.
The bolt hole clay is pushed down a little so it will have a dimple on the new part & I can see were to drill the holes.
Applyed 2 coat of HI-TEMP paste wax & rubbed out.
Starting to spray the green release about 4-5 layers with 30 min between each.

OK Lightin, here are both together again, after all they are a pair, the other one had to get to the bathroom when the picture was taken & I didn't want to wait.
