Hello All,

New to the forum, thoughtI would say hello.

Based in the UK Darn Sarf, currently the happy owner of a 1978 GL1000 had this for around 2 years now. She looks good and runs well tempted to take her off the road for a refurb but just too much fun riding her. Originally imported from the USA.

She shares the garage with a 1977 yamaha RD 250 (in bits, when I stop riding I put one or two pieces together) and a 2000 Buell X1 Millenium edition.

May lean on a few for technical advice.

Be good keep the rubber side down.

Buell I have had around a year longer than the Wing, there are more than you think just they shake themselves to bits more or less all the time so constantly requiring TLC but top fun.

welcome from Carolina also Catte

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - - body thoroughly used up, screaming WOOHOO!! what a ride!!
