Excellent forum. I just recently got back into riding when my son in law gave me an '82 GL 1100 that he took in on trade. Haven't been riding since 1989 when I got custody of my kids. ( Sold the Super Magna back then ) Now with seven grandkids I had to have a "grandpa glide" Will post pics as I get it the glideback in shape.
Good to have ya riding again!! Good luck with the Grandpa glide. Lookin forward to the pic's.

Not sure how I found this site, but looked pretty interesting. I do not currently own a Goldwing, but did own a 1985 interstate, 1986 Aspencade, and 1994 Aspencade. Recently retired from a bike factory where I was involved with Goldwings for nearly 30 years. Looking forward to reading posts here.
Dude what did you do with the wing's at the factory?? You gonna get one??

Appreciate being able to jaw jack with other riders. Stumbled upon this site while looking for answers. I sold my Yamaha Venture about 20 years ago, mainly because of lack of riding time. Now that I've hung up my trucker boots and big belt buckle, I'm bored to death, so I purchased a 94 GoldwingSE and am now breaking Grandma in to riding shotgun with me again. Thanks in advance for any help that I might receive maintaining this fine machine..... Jim said that!
Now welcome to ya ! and Bobalou said that!

Just checking in for the first time......found you after a "google search" looking for aftermarket seat recommendations for my '93 Aspencade.....after having just ridden a rented '09 H-D Electraglide all over CO, I gotta give to them that there seat comfort on long rides is wonderful, (albeit that the "only" complement I can give....Wings definitely rule!) But my stock saddle clearly needs to be upgraded and I'm looking for something on par with the stock H-D seat that won't break the bank....hopefully a bit lower as well.....appreciate any recommendations!

Best to all!!!
Thanks for signin up! Traded my standard seat for the aspencade and it made a difference. Others have used a sheep skin, shaved the seat ,added gel pads, etc etc.. Nothin says stay with what you got. In the tech forums there will bee link's to how to vamp a seat for very little.

It took me 30 years to save enough $$$ to buy my first wing. A red 03. In the three years since them I have put on 35,000 miles. One on the best things I have done.
