If it wouldn't offend goldwing owers why not have Honda 650 as a bike choice. Many interchangeable parts with its bigger goldwing brother.

Welcome to the Forum! You are the 1st member from Thorold!

Are we talking an early '80s Silverwing? My son, who rode an '81 Silverwing for 4 summers, says that if you can get on it and drive it while wearing a skirt, it ain't a motorcycle! He just hates that Honda resurrected the Silverwing name and made it a scooter. Seems to me, if I remember correctly, that the 650s came with a mess of problems that the earlier 500 versions didn't have. Was their demise. But it did have a snoot full more power. Loved the turbo model but, like the fuel injected 1200s, more hassle than it was worth.

Here in Manitoba there is no monetary advantage to riding a 650 over a Goldwing. Insurance is classified the same as soon as you break the 500cc threshold so why not get the big smooth bike with lots of parts still available? Not to mention the best and most informative Forum on the net to go to for help and camaraderie!

You're more than welcome to stick around -but be warned. The site is addictive and will get you to thinking hard about upgrading to the best bike Honda ever made.

Welcome, WelcomeTo Steve Saunders GoldwingForum. If you have any questions no matter how trivial they may seem this forum is the place to ask them. What I have noticed is that some of the people here were 'sin their previous lives and can answer any question you have. Theforums that I get the most from are::

Goldwing Technical Forum

General Motorcycle Discussion Forum

These have the best info aboutGoldwing’s and are where you ask questions and can get help..

For Sale/Wanted ForumGood stuff for Sale or if you have old parts sitting around the garage you would like to get rid of....

And when all you need is a good laugh to start your day try the:: Fun Forum After that it’s up to you which of the others you will like the best all I can do is suggest.

Again Welcome to the Forum...

Oh and did I mention everyone here loves pictures.. Show us some of yours... Even if it’s not a Goldwing just a pretty view
