Don't put them in your carry-on. Airlines are getting really picky about that kind of stuff.

Anyway, welcome to the forum.

I think the '75 can be carried on as the electronics are smaller than a cell phone. The LTD will definitely need to go into checked luggage.

Greetingz Lamb, welcome to this slightly off-centered forum! Best of luck with your relocation.

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lots of things. You've been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. Its having the right attitudes that's hard.

I'd think if you check Galveston you could secure a spot for the bikes on a cargo ship bound for the UK. There are certainly going to be companies down there that handle such things.

internet search, international motorcycle shipping

Ck with Ireland Customs import rules for bringing in a bike, thats staying in country.
Some countries are a hassle, want sales tax value and import fees etc.
Thats based on US/Canada bike imports, major expense and hassle.

A returning resident may be entirely different as I am frequently wrong!

Go on Facebook and look for Ciaran Meyler. He imports bikes from the states to his home in Ireland.

There was a tutorial by Steve Saunders on this site on that very subject but I can't find it.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

If I disagree with you it's simply because you're wrong.
