Just hit 50 So I got a Gold Wing

Heres the long run on sentence version of the short story of me with regards to bikes and riding..
Jeffrey here. I hit the half dollar mark last April. Im a 10 yr US Marine MEUSOC Vet, Iron Worker, Safety/compliance/contracts engineer, soft skills/intelligence based training educator NNSASLD and now Brain damaged disabled ptsd near homeless veteran denied treatment and benefits from both VA and SSDI. Got 2 awesome teen daughters and a greedy exwife thats cleaned me and kicked me on my way down.. join the club right.. lol. Its cool though.. you cant keep a Marine down, even when he is dead he is still kicking ass.. OK.. bikes, 1.) age 7, 1977 Rupp 5hp minibike from dump. Dad taught me to chop it, rebuild it and run the **** out of it.. That was only 1 of 2 non hondas. From there, 1969 honda dream 150twin, 1971 CL100 converted for riding dirt. (Damn points kept getting wet), '83 xl185, '85 CR250 (scary fast), 85 xl 600, '87 nighthawk 700s, 90something nx650, then i got serious. 94 vfr750, stretchd swing, jetted 105hp drag raced it on weekends. 92vfr750, 86 vfr700, '96 vfr750, then moved to philippines where I had 7 or 8 chinese copies of honda ohv type 200 and 250's. Favorite was my Superlight 200, a minature fatboy copy that i bobbered up, put a big carb, changed the sprocket and put mailbox numbers 450 so i could take it on the freeway in Philippines.. i got 90mph out of that little thumper, even wrote me up in a local magazine.. pretty cool honor for me.. and now my current new used bike.. even traded my 99chevy blazer with spent water pump for a really good condition 85 Aspencade that someone put a rear cargo moldings and tags from an SEi.. thats my story and im sticking to it.. pleasure to meet you all.. Welcome to the forum. Glad to hear you are on the upswing. A Goldwing is sure to help that. I'm Navy, served in Subic Bay RP and had a new 1975 CB360T. There is nothing like motorcycling in the Philippines.

Welcome Jeff. (50 years old...just a kid)
