New old guy

I used to be a member here but could not remember my pass word. My old wing was a 1980. Sadly its gone a few years back. I loved her I'm currently looking at a 1984 and thought I'd check in for what I should be looking at when I go to check it over.

After looking around I've found a couple 1500's for sale locally.

First one 1998 aspencade 48,000 miles
Second 1995 SE 48,000

What should I be checking for with these two years and models

If it were me I'd absolutely, 900%, go with the blue one. All of the add on stuff on the other one means the owner cares more about glitter than function. I expect that carried over into the maintenance and safety of the bike, as well.

Why ain't we ridin'?

Both bikes will do the job just fine. Do you like foot boards or pegs as the rider? Both bikes will require the same initial work/maintenance. Get the best deal possible, set a budget of $1000.00 USD for work/maintenance, and have fun.

Welcome back.

Cheers
