Hello, Jerry here, my 84 GL1200 not is not running except on almost full choke... When moving the choke to of slowly, it starts to sputter then finally dies, any ideas?

Dirty carbs. Has it been sitting a while? If you think this might be the issue, then the first magical trick would be to run some Seafoam fuel system cleaner thru it. There are directions on the can, you will want a pretty heavy mix.

Sorry, not ignoring you guys, for some reason I want able to see replies...

Yes it sit for a short period... How much sea foam are you talking...

Also, my throttle won't twist... It was like that the last time I tried starting it...

First thing you'll have to do is figure out the throttle/cable problem.

Again, what kind of air filter are you using?

Those are bad news. Don't know if that's the problem but your symptoms are extremely lean burn. The throttle problem will need to be figured out first.
