Shaking out the cobwebs

Hi all,
I was on this board years ago, but I have not had a bike for a few years. I am looking at a 75 GL1000 that may be a real gem, so I am back looking for thoughts. I'll start searching.

previous bikes: 84 nighthawk. 85 Sabre. 78 BMW. 99 Valkyrie (my favorite) 84 Aspencade. Currently looking at a 75 gl1000

Dan, Welcome back to the forum.

You say it may be a real gem. Are you referring to appearance (cosmetically) or mechanically? Or both....??

There are many factors to evaluate when considering purchasing older bikes.

However, the GL1000's are great bikes. I rode a 1977 Wing for many years.
