Greetings from Oregon

Hello All,

I recently (April 2019) became the recipient of a truly great gift: a 1993 Honda GL 1500 Goldwing Interstate in pristine condition. It sits in my garage keeping company with my 1975 CB750 K5 that I have owned since practically new. The CB750 needs an overhaul, so the GL 1500 is keeping me on the road while I worry my way through that.

Glad to have found these forums and resources - already have benefited greatly from that. Hope to make worthwhile contributions whenever I have something worth sharing.

Take good care,

BD

Hi, I spent a decade in the Portland area.

It only rained once while I was there.

Why ain't we ridin'?

It's true, it only rained once...

From the day I got there 'til the day I left.

Why ain't we ridin'?

Well, I've been here in NW Oregon for 42 years, forty of those in Portland, and I've gotta say that if you only saw rain once in 10 years, that is nothing short of amazing. Then again, I suppose you could mean that it started raining the day you got here and rained straight through until you left, hence it "only rained once - for ten years straight."

;-)

Thanks again for the message. Happy trails.

Welcome BD.

Keep that GL1500 Interstate parked level or pointed upward. Unless you have strong legs.....!
