What I meant was, the starter solenoid squealed and gave up the ghost. I say this was lucky, since it does not appear to have damaged the the ring gears. The bike normally runs beautifully, with no issues. The vacuum shut off has to be one of the culprits here since fuel was allowed to flow. I will definitely try adding sea foam to the fuel for the next several tanks. Thank you for the advice!
