Hello

Hello. I just recently upgraded I think from a gl1500 to a gl1800 and am having some adjustment issues. I thought I would join and see if someone can help me out. I love wings and sure hope I can figure this one out.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
May I suggest you test ride both, you'll find the 1500 has more leg room and a 'Car like' ride. There are no valves to adjust as it has hydraulic lash adjusters.
Good luck in your search for the perfect wing.

Well now I have both. The issue im having with the 1800 is shifting to fifth. I can feel the gear dogs engaging on about half the shift s. My 1500 just clicks and is in and going. Im sure it's me but I've tried some different things and can't get a consistent good shift into fifth. All other shifts are perfectly smooth. Any help would be great as I love the bike but don't want to round the gear dogs off if I can't shift it right
