I have recently purchased a 1980 gl1100 standard and I am currently in the process of getting her back on the road after being in the back of a garage since 2003 when she was imported into the UK.
She was a not running but now she ticks over nicely.
I have had to do the usual things; rebuild brakes, suspension, new tyres etc...everything you would associate with being sat for 16 years.
The seat was beyond repair so I have ordered a new seat and fitted her with Clubman type bars.
I am currently rebuilding the rear air shocks but I am struggling to find any rear bump stops as these have disintegrated.
I am not to sure about that , at least here in Europe the Kawasaki 750H2 two stroke or the 900Z1 from the early 1970`s goes for serius money(in original condition).
