I have just filled out my Passport Application online of all things.

The form will create a PDF that you can save and print later.

You need to read all of the requirements for photos, and a birth certificate.

Here is the main info page and the application button is down about 1/3rd of the page on the left side.

Your local Post Office has the forms you need as well, when completed, return to the post office with documentation required along with Picture (specific size requirements).

OH GEEZ this is going to be a good time I can tell already.
Have to take a road trip to get to an office because I have never had one.
I thought you just applied for it and if every thing checked out they sent you one.

Is there any private agency's that apply it for you?

700 mile round trip to sit in a govt. office and then probably have to do it twice because
they need more info.

Thank you for info John now at least I know what Iam in for.

Happier then a slinky on an escalator.

I just did my application last week
Got the picture done at Walgreens Drug Store, less than $20
The website http://iafdb.travel.state.gov/
You plug in your zip code, or pull it up by state and it will give you several cities in your state that have agencies that will take the paperwork and money.
Mine was at the local courthouse. Shouldn't have to drive very far to find one.

You guys should only need a passport for Canada if you are flying. Drivers only need to produce their driving licence. At least that was true up to recently, you might want to check it still holds true.

The way the site has it is if have never had one you have to make an appointment at one of there offices to submit your paper work. The list of offices doesn't show one here. I will see if they have a different way of going about it.
