Wow it's the last afternoon already. Been having so much fun with old friends and new. Waving at webcams like a bunch of goofballs. Fireside chats. Learning tons from watching and (sorta) helping gurus work on bikes. It's an honor just to loan some of these guys a wrench. Shot some sporting clays courtesy of Sean. Looking forward to another delicious dinner tonight, and the always hilarious auction, and the LONG AWAITED news about N9. Tomorrow we ride 28 up to NC through heaven sent bike country. Going home won't be so bad after all. Yep, life is good on a 'Wing.

All I can say is Wow!!!!

Flyone is home safe with 785 miles on the clock.....yeah, I know but at least I rode!!!!

This was another great event! Thanks to SB in SC, his family, the people of Edgefield, the NWTF, and most importantly everyone who attended!

If you didn't have fun at this event, either you didn't attend or it was your own fault!!! What a great time!

Bill, that is sure nuff the plumb truth.
Sean did a super job of making sure we had FUN things to do....

I loved every minute of it.... even the "little side trip" that Longboater planned out for us on Wednesday, he said at breakfast while looking at the paper map, "hmmm, looks like we will have about 5 hours of circle time, back in plenty of time to get our fancy t-shirts on.

well, 5 hours later, we are up close to Highlands and since we are nearly there, we must go see what the hoopla is all about.

we mange to drag back in at 6 PM or so, go down to the square and witnessed the fanciest light show on motorcycles I have ever seen.

Sean sure has some neat friends.

I'm at my son's home in Dawsonville, GA. arrived here about 1 hour ago, unloaded my clothes and thru them in the washing machine, got the laptop online, important stuff being handled.

Sure wish everyone on the forum could have made it down to Edgefield.... but those who did not, can try for next year over in Sioux Falls, SD

So let's see, 58,000 members on eht site and about 60 people at the Thursday dinner, This is indeed a one in a thousand event.

It was as much fun as any of these have ever been, a good venue with great local support. Well Done SBinSC and all of his assistants.

N8 is in the books and we made it home safe. What a great time again. Met up with some old friends and made some new ones. Just as last year the auction was a hoot. Also, just as last year my wife (Ladybug) managed to spend a lot of my money. Good thing this year is we did not spend the most as we did last year. However we still had a blast. Looking forward to N9 in South Dakota.

You all be safe on the road.

Not home yet, but spending the night in Corbin, KY. We had a great time at the "event". Too many of the group are outgoing so I try to balance that with a little bit of watching instead. Sean did a great job, food was very good, rides were great, ate too much. Wednesday was a long day, but great ride Ned! Looking forward to "9" we hope. Don't know, at this point, until we get home and check all the calendars, if we can plan on it.
Russell, thanks for the hat!

Wife and I made it back about a half hour ago and I think the alternator from Lopeha should be broken in. So glad it got us home!!!!!!! Thanks.

Traffic sucked in Louisville.

Too tired to type much more. We had a great time. Edgefield is a nice little city to roam around in.

GreenDragon: I am pretty sure i saw your white Spyder sitting in front of the Country Hearth Inn when we went by Corbin.
