Oh wow, I stop reading this thread for a few days and look what I miss.

Hey CM85, is there any chance youll have the time this week to stop by and take a look at my 77? Im really pulling my hair out trying to understand why this thing wont idle, and my friend is getting back in a week or so.

Ride it like you stole it, or leave it in the shed.

Yes.
I'm still looking for my daughter and that has consumed all of my time.
I'm about out of leads and opportunities on tracking her Mother down.
We'll get it squared-away this weekend.

Please remember to bring items for our annual auction that will be held on Thursday evening. Everyone is asked to bring an item or two that reflects your home area. The auction proceeds will go to a charity that will be announced prior to the start of the auction. So bring your items and your money and we will see you at the auction.

Dafuq?

Dude. Why can't you give a straight answer to ANYTHING?

You know it's great that yer putting this year's NASSIR together. But it sucks that yer acting like a jackass while doing it. And if that offends anyone...I really don't care.

I know of at least 6 on that list that will have their lovely young brides at their sides!

I won't be making it for conflicting business reasons.

Well for a while I was driving OTR. Didn't take me long to figure out that it just wasn't for me. So I came home and got back into towing. I work 10-14 hour shifts 12 days straight, have two days off then do it again. Doesn't leave much time for forums.

But I got a pleasant surprise today in the form of a phone call from a guy I hadn't talked to in some time. Was great to hear from him. He mentioned that there was a less than stellar conversation about NASSIR goin on so I decided to take a look for myself.

I don't blame Steve one bit for selling the forum. But it just hasn't been the same since, which is another reason I don't log in as much as I used to.

I finally married the Fender Buffer. Will be two years September 21. I figured after putting up with my sorry butt for 13 years she'd earned it.

Still have the Wing...178k miles on her now. She had just shy of 63k when I bought her ten years ago. I actually had plans of selling the old war horse next spring, along with the Sportster and a couple mopeds. Was planning on buying a Road Glide. Problem is...the Sportster was a gift from a man I call brother, and I just can't part with it. And the Wing...well I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on this planet that can keep the old girl rolling. So...looks like I'll be keeping them both for a while yet anyway.

Guess I'll sell the mopeds and use the money to spruce up the Wing.

Also been trying to get out to hunt a little more but...that hasn't gone as well as I would like. Seems every time I get close to having myself set up for it something else happens to wreck it. I've even settled for simply small game hunting, still only got out one day last fall. Came home empty handed.

In the process of that I've picked up a new hobby of sorts. Customizing airguns. The first one I put together I got a 2002 Ford Explorer and $500 cash for. Was an 8 month project. Now I'm sloooooooowly scraping the money together to build another one to keep!

I can't make NASSIR this year. But the wife and I are planning to make NASSIR10. And I'm hoping to be able to drag a friend (probably kicking and screaming(at his Harley) along with us. The same one that gave me the Sportster.

Sorry folks....didn't mean to hijack the thread.
