but, at least it works.

I keep two TABS open, one tab is the post, the other tab is the Album where I have the pictures stored.
I open the album, find the thumbnail I want, click on that, it opens up as you said, and then I right click and copy the URL to that much larger picture.

then I use the Landscape Icon to place that image inside the post.
It still does not come out as large as a Photobucket, but that is usually good.

Lots of folks don't realize that if they upload a 16 Megabyte picture to Photobucket, it will be 3 or 4 times larger than the post/screen can display w/o having to scroll sideways, and up/dn just to see it all.

there are times, when such a huge picture is actually desirable.
ie, carburetor jets and their locations..... a monster picture just cannot be equaled for detail.

The thing is when I want to post a picture I want it now, don't want to deal with uploading it to an album or photobucket then into my post. I was delighted when we got the D&D feature.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

If all the pictures I posted in manage attachment would be auto saved to my albums I'd use them.

The small images has been an issue.

to me, that has been a severe oversight, all attachments should be saved in a central album for the user.

It's because Albums and Attachments are two separate software functions, always have been and as far as I can tell always will be.

As for thumbnails vs in line images when using Drag and Drop, if you click on the paperclip after dragging and dropping you can insert the images wherever you want in the post

I prefer the thumb nails myself. I like the ability to choose the picture that occupies my view.

It aids in "story telling" as far as giving instructions or explaining things and does not occupy your whole post.

To: Wingmin (Kyle) - My original point is that when I D and D a picture that was 1024 by xxxx it would show in my post as a thumbnail. When you clicked on it, it would come up to what ever the native file size was. IE: 1024 by XXXX. Now when I do this it comes up to maybe 640 by XXX. It makes using a picture or chart or graphic useless. Is this a new bug that needs to be fixed or is it something that you guys have done on purpose? I just wanted to know what's going on and if I should stop posting pictures until corrected.

Hmmmm...

I am going to try something here for my own edumacation...
VVVV

I can't seem to add the any of the pictures to the body of this post by using the "paperclip" in the editor

Picture Size for Attachments has been increased to Full Screen!

Okay folks,

I bent over, grabbed my ankles and pushed the IT group to make our attachments bigger.

take a look at these now.

They are big enough now, that you can see all of the junk I have scattered around under the trailer.

and you can see leaves on the trees, and blades of grass.
