740 carb setup

Hello all, bought a rebuilt 740 on eBay. Taking a good look at it...what besides the choke needs to be removed? Any help would be great.

If that has an electric choke I would leave it on and run a switched hot wire to it.

Good luck... Ive been looking for a basic rebuild sheet for quite some time. I too, converted my GL1000 to a 740, and still cant seem to get it to idle under 2000Rs. I made mine a manual. that part works great! Im researching the rest of the equation. Again, good luck!

Okay, thanks. I was thinking the same thing. I know some folks have had issues with not enough room with the electric choke on it. In any case, I guess it doesn't hurt to leave it alone.
