Not all. 223 ammo is either fmj or varmint. I was simply suggesting to consider an alternative that not everyone thinks about. YMMV.
By all means, use what you are most comfortable with. The important thing is to be prepared to defend you and yours.
The biggest lesson from that is this,

Best not to buy that particular ammo if you want good results. Might as well be FMJ.
