States and gun laws

I just read today that CA has reversed the 10 round mag law. I hope stupid Jersey will too.( it is in effect in NJ and it started a little while ago)

A federal judge ruled California's law unconstitutional, seems NJ's would be too. The bill of rights is something the states have no jurisdiction over so any anti gun law they pass is unconstitutional.

If I disagree with you it's simply because you're wrong.

That will not stand....It is California! It will be overturned on appeal. Then eventually the scotus will refuse to hear the case. My prediction.

Cool

I agree it will not stand . But here is deal . The 9th Circus court stayed the ban to not allow it to go through until the lawsuit is over . Once Lawsuit which is based on Heller vs DC.

The good news is , if this gets shot down it goes back to the 9th Circus court.

And usually they will hold their ground and try to rule in favor of ban. Then we get a shot at Supreme Court. But with fairley recent rulings of Heller vs DC and McDonald Vs Chicago.
We might be in luck

Then there's this;
The Colorado legislature on Monday passed a “red flag” bill that would allow those deemed a threat to have their firearms seized, despite opposition by most of the state’s sheriffs and threats of legal challenges. https://thefederalistpapers.org/us/c...ition-sheriffs
