Springfield XD40, I like it. Had a Glock 22 gen3 but hated it, wanted another 40 cal so I found this at a gun show today.

It is, the Glock wasn't. Hard to know how one will feel until you actually shoot it.

Never liked Glocks. Had one come apart in my hand shooting it. At the same gun show that Dave bought his, I bought me a new 1911A1. Shot up close to 60 rounds the day after, shoots beautiful. Just gotta love a 45. Even if it was made in Turkey. Still made to US Army specs. I was going to buy one of the originals Army surplus guns, but the sellers wanted way too much for worn out 1911s that had way too much range time over the last 70 to 90 years.

Good shooting there Gene. Those tiny mil-spec sights aren't usually old guy friendly...

Ain't that the truth? I had to put some real sights on my 1911s and still can't see them very well.
