Something changed with Firefox

So, I fired up the laptop yesterday and opened Firefox. When it came up there was a notice that some of my apps are not compatible with Firefox, and they have been de-activated - one of those is AdBlock+. I tried reinstalling AdBlock+ but it won't even download - Did I do something or did something change in Firefox in the last couple of days?

I'm running Linux Mint Cinnamon, by the way...

Same thing happened here. Wondered what happened but not worried about it, haven't had an ad problem anyway.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

I found this on the Firefox support page for add ons: We rolled out a hotfix that re-enables affected add-ons. The fix will be automatically applied in the background within the next few hours. For more details, please check out the update at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...nstall-firefox

I was able to get AdBlock+ running again by clearing all the cookies, and history.

The new version 66.04 will solve the problem. I installed it last night and it is still working.

I use kaspersky with the Firefox add on. The protection ICON disappeared the other day and Firefox gave me some sort of error about the add-on certificate.
