I guess I'll never understand a Linux distribution where one has to go out in the wild for Open Source divers.

Well,
I guess I meant they are free to use, they came direct from Epson and IIRC this version was released early this year.

The builtin Epson drivers that come with Linux Mint don't work for some reason.
