Interesting article...

About like a dentist describing brain surgery.

The guy doesn't know much about petro-chemistry, and he uses a lot of engineering jargon to make the uninformed believe him.

His description of constructing an oil molecule is laughable.

"I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I do refine oil"

electrical engineer pst, i argue with an electrical engineer all day long on another forum where hepretends to be amechanic.

He doesn't completely understand how an engine works. He has some facts of oil correct but seems like a lot he just summarized oil websites. And according to him, oil only lasts 2500 miles

Just goes to prove the oil debate isn't resolvable, we are all going to use what we like whether we decide on the type by a scientific opinion that may be right or wrong, divination by chicken or sheep entrails or (animal of your choice here) or by the position of the planets or like most by cost. Most of us will do our oil changes based on the methods described above.
