Keener, I have seen them listed on some of the brake application charts so theyare out there.

I am doing the same thing (installing stainless brake lines on my personal 1200) this winter & have found a hydraulic shop in my area that does a lot of racing go-kart braided stainless lines. I have a friend that had his shifter kart done by this shop & they made some nice looking braided lines. I haven't priced it down to the exact job but a quickie price quote didn't seem too bad & was a lot lower than the prices in the brake site charts. The actual lines & crimping is fairly cheap but the banjo & end fitting are fairly pricey..

That link led here:

....starting a $200, that's too pricey for me.

Unfortunately, Paragon does not sell Goldwingbrake linesto the general public anymore. The Adirondacks and Beyond Line of SS lines are made by Paragon, to the best of my knowledge.(If I'm wrong, please let me know so I won't pass bad info to anyone else) The price doubled from a year ago. I got my set for my '83 Interstate for about $140 U.S. Now I think they're about $230-260.

Regards,

Hobie

Yes, Adirondaks and their one and only "vendor" knows they have Goldwinger's nuts in a vise, and feel they can screw us out of our money. There is no reason for the lines to have doubled in price, except for pure out and out greed. Not on Paragon's part.

But I do wish Paragon hadn't gotten out of the Goldwing line business.

Keener

I think that if you go to a hydraulic shop, with your brake lines they would be able to make you up some very high quality hoses. If you want to talk furtherabout this I might be able to give you more info, send me an email, PM or phone. I do have some background with this butI don't want to bore everyone with clutter...

Too bad HEL USA has the '83 Goldwing lines listed as 3 front lines. Can you be sure this company knows what it's doing? Sigh......

Email him. He has always replied very quick.

I have spoke with him several times on the phone. I have usually verified lengths with him before ordering.
