Hi all,

I have a tape stuck in my cassette player, on my 1994 gl1500, any tips on whats causing the problem gratefully received.

Could be anything causing this. You really need to remove the radio and open it up to have a better look.

Is it that the cassette door is stuck closed or you can open the door but the tape is stuck ? A bit more info would help ...cheers Ciaran

one more thing ,,is it an SE model ?

the bike isan SE, the door open but the cassette does not eject.

The door on the SE is electric ,,if it is opening as normal ,and your radio is holding the memory then it is not the 5 amp back up fuse ,,I would suspect that the heads in the cassette player itself are out of line and have got stuck in the casing of the tape ,,You may need to strip it down if all the usual pulling and coaxing fails ..cheers Ciaran

I finally got to pull the radio apart and release the cassette, all works fine now,

Out enjoying the sun and my tape has stuck.

Any tips on the bext way to strip the radio/deck?
