What are some of the likes and dislikes of havig floor board?

What are the best one to look at?

Some members like them and some hate them. I didn't mind the toe heel shift too much , on my 1100 but hated the scraping of the boards. I personally would not consider them on my 1500, but others just love them. This one is definately a case of personal choice.

Welcome to the best Wing site in the world by the way.

Type floorboards in search, plenty of previous discussions on this, I couldn't wait to get them off my 1500 and back to pegs, but that's just my view.

The statements beloware an opinion and may be at odds with yours or reality. Of course since it's my opinion it's unassailable.

Floorboards are fine on forward control bikes, not so hot with a 'Wing's sitting position. They get in the way when putting your feet on the ground, they scrape sooner in a curve, and the heel and toe shifter that usually is necessary with them deadens all feel when shifting. Using the foot brake is more awkward. Plus they make your bike look like a Harley wannabe. (Not to be confused with our English Lady, wannabe)
