My bike is not stored at my home and i have been researching shocks for my 1979 and wonering about interchange on other bikes of that era, Honda or not. what length is the shock and is that all i would have to worry about, other than a grommet on one end and an open U on the other ? what about load? thanks

I'm 99% sure they will be 13 ", but there's that 1% still there !:baffled:

Go to "NakedGoldWings.com" and ask there !:clapper:

Unless one of these gentlemen will measure theirs for you?:baffled:

I measured the rear shocks on my 77....13.25 inches center to center. I also measured a set of aftermarket rear shocks I bought for the 77 and they are 13.50 inches center to center .
