Greetings all.

There is a new member that would like to know what type/weight oil should be in his air shocks in the back. He indicates that he's running 40lbs or so so I'm pretty sure he's dealing with OEM shocks.

I don't have a clue.

Would you please reply to Shocks a few threads below.

I just redid my front and rear and I used power steering fluid in it. It rides a whole lot better now.

used ATF when I rebuilt the seal on my 1200 left rear

GL 1100 1980-1983 Service manual says ATF for the front and rear.
