Ok ok , I know I'll be the laugh of the forum . BUT , I just bought my first Goldwing , a 1993 gl1500se , and didn't get a manual with it.

My question is , where the heck is the engine oil dipstick and how do I get to it ?

Hey Mr Ed... Welcome ... No stupid questions just the ones not asked.

On the right side you have a side panel. Gently pull it away . Next the carberateur cover which is by your right knee (has a big rounded area. Pull that away and towards the rear of the bike and you will see the oil fill and dipstivk.

Good Luck with your new ride.

Hey Mr. Ed,

Thanks for asking this question. I just bought a 93 GL1500 as well and so now I know where the dip stick is. Everybody is ignorant... just about different subjects.
