i know this may sound dumb but as i am no mechanic. here goes. if i pour gas into the top of 4carbs, breather off, etc, where does it go? will it go into the 4 carbs from there or to pistons, to plugs?

mark

It will go right thru the venturi into the intake manifold.

IF by some unlucky bit of luck, the intake valve should be open, it will then run into the cylinder and when the piston comes up, it will hydrolock and maybe break something.

Not a good idea.

If you are just trying to prime the engine to get it started, then a few drops won't hurt anything unless it backfires.

I would use an aerosol can instead. Like starter fluid.

All I wanna do is ride, ride, ride!....And enjoy every minute of it too! Used to own a GL1500!!
