Hi y'all, and my question has to do about the rubber accordin underneath the passenger foot rest on my 91 se. Mine is badely cracked up and wondering if any of you guys have ever replaced these, and about how much cash are they worth. It is on my list to do in the future. Thanks in advance.

The passenger footrest on my 89 is an aluminum foot board with a rubber top part.
There is no rubber on the bottoms. Just aluminum.

Could you clarify a bit?

On the SE there are adjustable height passenger footrests and I think he means the rubber accordian that goes UNDER the footrests ,that hides the mechanics of the cable for the UP DOWN adjustments ...Ciaran

I have the "bellows" type rubber to cover the mechanics of the adjustable passenger rests, so I reckon Wexman is right as to waht JJ is after.

Might be worth calling in at your Honda stealer, it might just be something that won't cost an arm and a leg.

Check this out: http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/200_03...mp;parent=8860

They look to be around $45.00 a piece.

I have tried several times to go to the link now, including http://www.ronayers.com. For some reason, their server is down. Try this: http://www.hdlparts.com/fiche_section_detail.asp

Just make sure you look up a 1996 GL1500 SE, not an Aspencade or Interstate. It is located under SE STEP.
