I am looking to have a new winshield built for my gl1100. It has a Vetter fairing and it has a windshield on it that was built back in the late 80's or early 90's. Windshield is different than any I have every seem. It is cut flat across the top. Flatter on the main surface opn front. And it goes through a series of bends as it wraps around the front of fairing. the material is about twice as thich as a regular windshield. The guy that built it is no longer around that area or has went out of bussiness. Anyone know of someone that could build another. The original one is still on my bike. But getting several stress cracks and getting that smokey haze look to it.

I had my present screen custom made by a shop that produced those Neon-light signs. I'm pretty sure you have them plenty over there.

Good Luck

You should be able to have a copy made by any plastics shop if you take you old one in for them to duplicate. Or you could order a new windshield from Vetter.

Several ebay sellers have them also. As far as I know all Vetter windshields are the same.
