Dangit, I thought I payed attention to the way I took my TRAC unit apart! The small flange side that the caliper bolt goes through on mine was facing out. But now that I have it apart I read the manual and it says the large side flange faces out?? Can't find any pics to help me either? Please help and thanks in advance!!!!! Bob.

I'm not sure the part your referring to. I looked in the Clymer manual there is no mention of a flange.
In this picture can you tell me which part it is your referring to?
I had mine apart recently so I'll know which you mean.

Or if you post a picture of the part in question that would help.

I dont know what "BTT" means

Hey guys thanks for the replys!!! I am refering to the caliper pivot bolt which goes through the bushing in the trac unit which has one side with a little bigger flange than the other. I ended up doing the opposite the book said and placed the larger flange to the inside. That is the way it looked like it came off and the way I had it marked. It does'nt look like it makes a big difference anyway! Thanks for all the input and yeah, the bike is back on the rode! See ya, Bob.

I am in the same boat, I picked up a wreck 2 years ago for the engine but took the TRAC apart around that time. Now I want to use the front end on my 82. Do you have a picture of the pivot pin and how if fits into the TRAC. Also how the TRAC hooks into the calipers. (or vice versa).

Thanks
