When accelerating under 2500 rpm from low throttle a flat spot occurs similar to a double acceleration from a dead start. All filters, air, fuel, cruise & sub air, spark plugs, have been changed, both carb slides are free working. Tried all octains of fuel. Two cans of sea foam thru fuel system. What am I missing? 1996 GW Asp
Thanks in advance, Ron

Welcome Hockbro. It sounds like the jets in the carbs giving you problems. I had that in my 81 GL1100 and had to clean them to cure it. Maybe someone will have a suggestion for you for I am just guessing.

Accelerator Pump? But, ....

Use your choke (a little and a lot) to diagnose andsee if thesymptoms change. I would do this check with relatively hard acceleration.

What is your history with this carb/bike?

I suspect you are running lean and your carb will need a good cleaning.
