It just keeps getting better with this bike. I noticed a slight sideways movement in the rear tire while the bike was on its centerstand. I took the tire off to maybe replace the bearings and the bearing outer race on the disc side spins in the rim. How can this be repaired? Loctite? Weld up and re machine for new bearing to press fit? Machine out and sleeve? Not much material for that. Any suggestions? New rim big bucks, I'm on a budget.

Thanks!

easiest way is to get a complete drive assembly off of a trike conversion and change out the rear end to a newer bike. The rear wheel and drive were only used on the 88-89 models. by changing to a newer model, parts are easier to find. You would need the final drive, wheel assembly, spline assembly, caliper and caliper mount.

Or I have the wheel and drive unit from my 88 if you want to make a offer.

I would not have that hub repaired. Find one on e-bay.
