so it turns over? but doesn't start?

next. did you hit the kill switch?

does it want to fire at all, or just turn?

you shouldn't have all four cylinders/carbs fuel starved... nor would all four plugs fail to fire

did you check the kill switch?

I was late for work and didn't even look. I'll check it when I get home tonight. Thanks. Boy will I feel dumb if that is what it is. I paid $75.00 to have it towed home.

just trying to think of the easiest mistake to make (not that I have done anything like that) course, could be a bad electronic ignition (if yours was converted as well) but I would look at first the kill switch, then the fuel petcock (interesting word) then, do you have a spark, does fuel drain from the carbs...

I have not been able to afford to convert it to electronic ignition yet, but I think it may be the kill switch. I was so mad earlier, I just called a tow service to come and carry it back to the house and got the car and went on to work. Expencive lesson if it was the kill switch. $75.00 to carry it 8 and 1/2 miles. Thanks.

Don't feel bad. 1980s, my buddy did the same thing out in Mojave Desert. Called his wife to bring the owner's manual. Hundreds of miles and hours later he found his mistake. Boy was she pissed.

I'll bet. If I had been in his shoes, I would have been pissed. It won't happen again if that is the case.

It was the kill switch. I feel so dumb, but a friend of mine said that everyone does it at least once. LOL
