hi all

im trying to replace the aerial on the rear of my wing does anyone know what alternatives are available in the uk as mine is missing ive tried halfords and maplin with no joy hope you can help

Is a aerial the same thing as an antenna??

Radio Shack doesn't sell them. You can order them online here however. I ordered the cheaper one, and it works perfectly.

Does it mount the same as the original spring loaded one, or did you have to change mount and wiring with it?

It mounts exactly in place of the original, it has the correct mount, and the wire it comes with is exactly the right length to replace the original (and has the correct connector). Basically, it's an exact OEM replacement.

Hmmm... I'm going to have to jump on this... I made a homemade stub for a CB whip and it has been working for a while but the rockin' back and forth is breaking the base up.

Does anyone have the part number from Radio shack by chance???
