Maybe your forks aren't straight; Loosen the bolts that hold the forks in place with the wheel off the ground. Check the axle centered on the wheel? axle tight no play left to right?

Hi jdb5c! How are you determining that you tire is wearing on one side since the fork seal change? Does it ride normally hands off? If the wear is mostly on the left side that's pretty normal for bikes ridden in countries that drive on the right side of the road.

How many miles on the tire?

Could very well be 'normal' wear and you never noticed it(cupping) before the seal change, as it starts off quite subtly. Make sure you keep your tire pressure up and checked at least weekly, to helpminimize cupping.

Sounds like normal tire wear to me, the wavy stuff most likely is cupping which is also pretty normal.
