I want to put a CB on my 93 interstate. So far here are my options.

Stock honda new....The head unit alone is over $600 + the harness, antenna....etc. Way out of my price range!

Ebay it! Can get the same for about half price used. Not sure what I'm getting. Cross my fingers and hope for the best.

J&M has a handle bar mounted unit! Looks like a pretty cool unit. $360 + about another $120 for the mounting hardware and antenna. $480 total!

Air Riderhas a pretty cool setup. Plugs right in to the intercom! $599

I'm really digging the air rider set up but I'm thinkin I could probably do something like that at probably 1/10th the price. Midland had a small unit I can get on ebay for $35 only thing is , it doesn't have a weather channel. I haven't really looked around but there has to be a small CB with a weather channel out there.

Anyhow, anybody have any ideas on anything else? Any gurus out there that can give any tips on wiring the thing into the intercom system? I do have the experience to wire this thing up, just not sure on the proper wires to tap into.

Thanx in advance!

What happens in Vegas, happens on my wing!

It's actually about $80.00 cheaper to buy it from Sierra Electronics in Ohio. I'm considering one for my 2000 Aspy. I think Santa's going to bring me one.
