Hi everyone,

Just wanted to show you what I started yesterday. Not sure if I like them or not, they make my fine little princess sound like a loud mouth b**ch!

I was hoping that it would not have sounded so much like a Harley but it does. I have only tested it in the “tent” but does have the “potato patato potato” sound at idle. I was hoping that theRoad King mufflers would be a little more quiet.

Anyhow, just wanted to show anyone interested how I am mounting them.

I will let you know how things progress.

Tim.

Hey JB and William,

I purposely made the pipe extensions longer so they would not interfere with the center stand. Where the stand curls around, it is at the neck of the muffler. The centre stand will be riding higher than before. It was not a an original exhaust on it. I did scrape from time to time with 2 up riding.

As far as ground clearance, I think that these are a bit higher up than the other ones.

Tim.

i like it Tim. Might i suggest another bracket that goes to where the original bracket was. The hole under the passenger pegs. Id like to see it with the bags when you are done. thanks JB

Hey JB,

This is just a test fitting of the pipes and muffler. I am making a set of brackets and clamps for that connection on both sides. It will help relieve the stress along the frame where the bags will go.
