If there is, there should be a + sign and a - sign next to the terminals.

If there is only one post, that one is postive. The case will be ground or battery negative.

I checked again, and mine are 90's, not 80's but pretty much the same. No polarity markings.

Sometimes the + and - are stamped directly ona terminal. Otherwise check with Ohm Meter and see if either terminal is a short to the mounting bolt. If it is that is the -.

i saw a listing on ebay tonite that looks similar to mine. they say they sell it with a 30 amp relay. mine didnt come with a relay. whats the purpose of that relay? do I need one?

tech specs on the 80's (similar) show a draw of 11 amps at 12v.

Yes, you will need a relay. The horn wiring, including the horn button switch, will not take the amperage the Stebel horns will draw. YourOEM wiring will control the relay.
You can get a 30 amp relay and a 20 amp fuse/fuse holder at any auto parts stores. Normally mount the fuse holder within 6 inches of the battery.

Did you get the +and - figured out?

I believe that is no polarity for this horn. I'm using TM80 too.

Try it both directions.
One will be louder than the other.
Use the loud connection.

the 90's only pull 11a. why would I need a 30 amp relay?
