Is this the standard alternator for my bike (Hitachi LR140-707A) I have quite a lot in the way of accessories on my bike (mainly lights) and wondered if it was big enough.

The voltmeter shows it just OK at idle should I upgrade to a compufire.

Does anyone know of a company in the UK that supplies compufire alternators ?

Thank you

Terry

I am no sure if one really has to upgrade to a 90 amp alternator but it sure gives me peace of mind while running lights and heaters. The stock units tend to put our near 30 amps. If you really want to obtain a
Compufire, I think Cyclemax here in the U.S. will ship overseas.
