In a a dire need of instruction on how to change head lamp on friends 01 1800. Is it like a 1500, take off screws behind mirrors and remove front cover. Not much in owners manual. Thanks a bunch. Need info asap.

You can do a forum search for "headlight 1800" and come up with more.

The service manual says to remove the fairing pocket but I can reach them through the tunnel or fromunderneath. If you or a neighbor have aHonda car made in the last ten yearsor so you can look at the back of the headlamps to better see how the wire retainer thingy works. Handle the bulbs with latex gloves so you don't get skin oils on the glass parts. It is super simple but until you do it once it does seem daunting. PM me if you wantmore.

Are you changing a complete headlight or a bulb?
