Carb adjust - Steve Saunders Goldwing Forums

Had the air cleaner and housing out to see carbs, couldn't find where to adjust the carbs. Need help out there

Not sure what you want to adjust but ... Mixture is at the front of the carbs (go in between the rads) sync is from the right side. Hope that helps.

That's what I was looking for Jim. Thanks for the info. I looked all around the sides andrear but to my surprise, no see-um. Have a 1995SE, with an up and down idle. Thought I would give it a go at adjusting them. Thank's again. Terry

Try rocking the idle screw by the gas cap back and forth several times. Sounds strange, but there is an old thread here where several people found this to stop their wandering idle speed.

One of the guys on here (wolfman) has done a super job on carb rebuild. This link to his page will likely help you some. Even if your just poking around it is excellent info.
